LAMY AL-star pearl – the perfect choice for the style-conscious

Back

Exquisite colours meet familiar, modern form – the popular classic LAMY AL-star will be presented in a new, limited edition in 2013. This new design for the aluminium-made LAMY AL-star pearl demonstrates that even a subtle appearance can be a statement on style in itself. The metallic shine of the robust yet ultra-light body goes to show: Lamy knows how to once again reinterpret their classic writing instruments in a new and modern way. The distinctive, spring-loaded metal clip remains the functional and elegant design detail it has been with all AL-star models. Designer Wolfgang Fabian created this writing instrument which primarily appeals to trend-setters in writing due to its attractive and modern design. Its ergonomically-shaped grip made of transparent synthetic material provides the LAMY AL-star pearl an especially smooth fit while writing and supports every writer’s individual handwriting style. The LAMY AL-star pearl is 100% “Made in Germany” – as are all Lamy products from Heidelberg.

The LAMY AL-star pearl is available as a fountain pen with EF, F, and M nib sizes. Other models include the ballpoint pen with Giant Refill M 16 black and rollerball pen with Refill M 63 black.

About Lamy
The LAMY brand stands for high-quality designer writing instruments defined by their timeless modern aesthetics and perfect functionality. Its success story began over 50 years ago with the LAMY 2000: in 1966, the model established the clear and unmistakeable design which still defines the style of all the brand’s products today – the Lamy design. As an independent family business, Lamy has been associated with Heidelberg since it was first founded in 1930 and therefore guarantees consistent high quality, “Made in Germany”. With an annual production of over 8 million writing instruments and turnover of more than 110 million euros in 2016, Lamy today is not only the market leader in Germany but has developed to become an internationally sought-after brand. The company continues to set trends, not just through its annual special editions and has inspired writing enthusiasts around the world with its innovative colours and surface finishes. In this way, Lamy continues to reinvent itself and proves that a writing instrument is more than just an everyday object: it is a genuine lifestyle accessory which expresses the pleasures of writing by hand and highlights the individuality of the owner.
