Heidelberg, February 2014
To start off the 2014 Spring/Summer season, Lamy has expanded its AL-star series with a new LAMY AL-star bluegreen Special Edition model: The writing utensil in vibrant bluegreen provides a cool and energetic writing sensation.

In its latest interpretation, the successful LAMY AL-star with its smooth and elegant aluminium finish and, as one of Germany's favourite pen series, has an entirely new character. Innovative materials combined with functional technology and the very highest demands in terms of design have resulted in the LAMY AL-star. Designer Wolfgang Fabian designed the model in 1996. Since then, the series has surprised time and time again with its special editions in the latest lifestyle-oriented colours, inspiring the writer to accentuate their modern individuality with this accessory.

Smart design, lightness and transparency
Modern materials, precision workmanship: The classic cylinder-shaped LAMY AL-star fountain pen has a lightweight, yet robust full-metal body made of aluminium. Made with a special anodising technique, the aluminium is smooth and yet resistant to knocks and scratches.
A further highlight is the grip: made of transparent plastic, which lets you see the inner workings of the fountain pen. The parallel recessed grips ensure a firm grip while writing. This makes the pen pleasant to touch and lie firmly in the writer's hand – which further supports the individual writing character.
The nib is fully polished. A discreet Lamy logo engraved at the rear end of the body and the typical Lamy spring-action chrome-plated metal clip on the cap accentuate the sophisticated design of the LAMY AL-star series.

LAMY AL-star bluegreen is available as a fountain pen, ballpoint pen and rollerball pen. Besides clear anodised aluminium, the following colours are also available to provide further variety: graphite, oceanblue and black purple.
The special edition is available now.
