Warranty
At LAMY India, operated by FCE Lifestyles Private Limited, we are committed to offering premium quality and service. All LAMY products purchased from authorized retailers or authorized e-commerce platforms in India, and carrying the official FCE Lifestyles Private Limited hologram on the warranty card, are covered under our warranty program.
Warranty Coverage
1) All eligible LAMY products are entitled to a two-year warranty from the date of purchase against material or manufacturing defects.
2) Warranty covers:
Mechanical failures (e.g., malfunctioning mechanism)
Loose clips
Loose or faulty parts originally smelted or firmly fixed
Valid warranty claims will be addressed free of cost within the warranty period, upon submission of the original invoice and warranty card.
Exclusions from Warranty
The warranty does not cover:
Natural wear and tear
Damage due to mishandling, improper use, or accidents
Alterations, dismantling, or unauthorized repairs
Use of refills/ink other than LAMY
External damage (scratches, stains, dents, solvent or chemical damage)
Discontinued, vintage, or premium Signature Series models (repairs may require shipment to LAMY Headquarters, Germany, subject to spare availability)
Role of LAMY Service Centre
If the product is under warranty → repair or replacement will be carried out free of cost.
If the product is not covered under warranty → the LAMY Service Centre will provide an estimate for repair or replacement charges. Work will proceed only after customer approval.
For products requiring shipment to Germany (e.g., vintage or Signature Series), courier charges, re-import duties, and repair costs (if not covered under warranty) will be borne by the customer. Lead time in such cases is typically 7–10 weeks (excluding unforeseen delays).
