How does ncode technology work?
There is a fine dot pattern on the edges of the LAMY digital paper notebook. The camera integrated into the LAMY safari ncode – the optoelectronic sensor – uses these dots for orientation and transmits the writing to the app via Bluetooth. If the pen is not connected to the app, it temporarily stores the information so that it can be synchronized later.

How does LAMY Safari ncode work?
The LAMY safari ncode is turned on by briefly pressing the power button on top. When turning it on for the first time, the button must be held down for 15 seconds.
If the tip is badly deformed, worn, or blunt on one side, it should be replaced. This, along with other factors that may not be easily visible, can affect the quality of use (writing, precision, latency, etc.). This is the right time to change the tip.
