The LAMY safari roll-ink complements the series with an innovative cartridge rollerball pen that writes with fountain pen ink: instead of a rollerball refill, it uses the familiar LAMY T 10 ink cartridge in blue, which is also used in fountain pens.
With the LAMY safari roll-ink, LAMY is introducing its first rollerball pen that can be filled with blue erasable fountain pen ink. Developed especially for the school market, the new LAMY safari rollerball pen is equipped with the blue LAMY T 10 ink cartridge, which has also been used in LAMY fountain pens for decades.

The LAMY safari roll-ink combines the ease of use of a rollerball pen with the smooth writing experience of a fountain pen and the benefits of fountain pen ink – including the ability to erase the blue ink. Designed as a practical alternative to the fountain pen, particularly for use at school and university, where using a fountain pen is not the most accessible or preferred option.
As with all LAMY safari models, the ergonomic design enables fatigue-free writing and supports a relaxed writing posture in everyday use. The distinctive metal clip and the robust barrel made of high-quality ASA plastic ensure stability and durability.

The LAMY safari roll-ink is designed exclusively for the blue LAMY T 10 cartridge.
Whilst other ink colours may fit mechanically, they cannot reliably meet our high quality standards because these pigmented inks contain solid particles that can settle in the very fine ink channels of the LAMY safari roll-ink.
Our standard blue ink is completely water-soluble, ensuring a smooth flow and reliable writing performance.
We therefore strongly recommend using only the original blue cartridge in this model.
