A shimmering highlight for the festive season: the new LAMY studio platinum grey.

From September 2009 the successful LAMY studio writing instrument series will also be available in a colour that is among the declared favourites of prominent fashion designers and car makers: metallic shimmering anthracite grey.

An elaborate lacquering process, in which several colour and pearl-effect layers are alternately applied, and then finally sealed with a matt coating of clear lacquer, endows the new writing instruments with a radiance that is redolent of high-quality, classic business fashion.

A charming contrast to this is produced by the grips and instrument ends, which are made of glossy chrome. Similarly, so is the metal clip created by Hannes Wettstein, which artistically turns in on itself, and turns each LAMY studio into a writing instrument of unique attractiveness and flair.

It will be available at specialist retailers und in selected department stores as a twist-action ballpoint pen, ink rollerball with cap and as a fountain pen with a partially platinised 14-carat bicoloured gold nib that radiantly shines against the anthracite grey of the pen body.
