Heidelberg, may 2008. Lamy will be impressing youngsters and young adults this summer with two new colour versions of the LAMY AL-star. The special models LAMY AL-star raspberry in pink and LAMY AL-star oceanblue in dark blue expand Germany’s popular writing instrument series, the LAMY AL-star, to six colour versions. Lamy will be selling the two new products from May 2008. Based on the LAMY AL-star, which has been successful for ten years, the new fountain pens offer a robust and yet light full-metal shell made of aluminium with the characteristic plastic grip zones and ink level window. The distinctive metal clip, which has acquired cult status, is chrome-plated on the two colour versions, creating a special feature. The LAMY AL-star raspberry and oceanblue are therefore more than just fountain pens. They are a fashionable accessory for youngsters and young-minded adults in summer 2008.
The metal nibs are available in five different thicknesses. The fountain pens take the LAMY T10 large-capacity cartridge. The LAMY AL-star raspberry and oceanblue are also available as a ballpoint pen and ink rollerball.
