This data protection declaration applies to the use of the websites (hereinafter referred to as “Lamy websites”) offered for use by C. Josef Lamy GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “Lamy”). When using Lamy websites you retain your anonymity providing that, of your own volition, you do not make personal data available to us. Automatic gathering, processing and use of personal data

Each time you visit Lamy websites we automatically gather information about which IP number is assigned to your computer, which browser and which operating system you use, and which websites you have viewed. This data is stored in log files on the Web server. Of this data, only the IP number comprises personal data. To protect against the misuse of our computer systems it is necessary to store the IP number of each visitor for a temporary period. If in addition we refer to the log files in order to generate usage profiles, whether for the purposes of advertising, market research, or to design our websites according to requirement, the IP numbers are rendered anonymous in advance. Use of cookies

On Lamy websites we generally use what are known as session cookies, which store data for the technical control of your session in the memory of your browser. Precautions

Lamy undertakes the technical and organisational precautions necessary to protect your personal data against loss and misuse.
